A good-sized group of 6, joined by Hugh (good to see him again for the first time this year), took on this hilly little ride over the downs. After a chilly start a few sunny spells developed and it felt quite warm on the way back. Refreshments were taken at the very comfortable Hermitage Garden Centre. We particularly enjoyed the smooth tarmac of Hangman's Stone Lane.
