The weather turned out a lot nicer than the forecast with sunny spells and a light breeze. The ride over to Marlborough was on quiet lanes apart from the last stretch into town, but this was not too bad. A welcome coffee at The Food Factory was enjoyed outside, before the leg home to Wantage. We were back in Wantage by around 13:30, so not a bad average speed.
