A very pleasant ride into and through the Chilterns. Some climbing, some grubby lanes and some sunshine.

The two biggest climbs, Garsons Hill and Assendon, were dealt with fairly early on. Riding through Henley is always fun.

Nick considerately got a puncture arriving at the refreshment stop so there was no delay required. The Barn at Turville Heath is very quaint and serves excellent food. One to remember for future rides.

After lunch the ride was pretty lumpy until we got to Christmas Common where a spirited run back through Ewelme and Benson got us back bang on 2pm which was my estimated completion time
