The weather threatened rain and there were a few spots early on in the ride but it brightened up and there were some blue skies towards the end.

A fairly spirited ride tonight on a fairly lumpy route. Nick needed to get back to Wantage so left us at Ashbury, the rest of us finished the hill and enjoyed the long fast run down to Lambourn. Sheepdrove is beautiful at the moment, with verges thick with wildflowers, much nicer than the main road.

After the Letcombes there was a spirited sprint through Wantage followed by a pint in the KAH for a few of us. Good ride with great company
