We started and finished this ride in lovely spring sunshine. It was the bit in the middle that was a bit unfortunate. Arriving at Cafe Bella in Ramsbury just in time to catch the breakfast service, it was plenty warm enough to sit outside and enjoy the sun in the sheltered courtyard. But dark clouds were gathering as we passed through Hungerford and they finally managed to catch us at Wickham where we rode through a heavy downpour (and a drop in temp to 4 deg C) for the next 30 minutes before the sun came back for the last 15km or so. This didn't spoil the ride though as it still felt like we had seen the first stirring of spring.
