Summer Wednesday – Weekly evening ride from Wantage at either Blue or Red grade, which will complete before sunset. We will have a variety of paces and terrains across the summer season.8:55 pm
Third Sunday – An all-day ride starting away from Wantage, so you'll need to either ride or drive out to the start point. The ride will be Blue or Red grade and include lunch and maybe other refreshment stops. The ride should finish by 17:00 (or 30 minutes before sunset during winter months).
A lumpy ride northwards from Woodstock to explore the very scenic Ironstone Country of north Oxfordshire and south Warwickshire.
The ride starts at the free car park behind the library on Hensington Road in Woodstock. We head north via Charlbury and Chipping Norton to take a look at the Rollright Stones before a refreshment stop at Wyatt's Farm Shop.
We continue north to Edgehill before climbing up to the magnificent Burton Dassett Hills Country Park. Shortly afterwards we will reach our lunch stop at the National Herb Centre in Warmington.
By now we'll be heading south via Bloxham, the Barfords and a gated road to the Bartons. A short hop from here will find us back in Woodstock.
The ride is 106km and undulating, I'm expecting it to be a tad over 1x hilly.
