A good turn out considering the grey and wet conditions that greeted the riders at the start (rain)

An uneventful and drizzly run out to Stanton Harcourt with a slight diversion at Southmoor to take the little used track to Hinton Waldrist (a little muddy in places, oops, sorry!).

The lane to Yelford was pretty mucky too and we used another little used lane into the back of Bampton where we met another group of cyclists going the same way. Friendly pleasantries were exchanged :)

The breakfast at the garden centre was very welcome as the rain had got a little heavier by this point. However when we restarted it had stopped and was starting to brighten up a bit. By the time we got to Stanford-in-the-Vale the Sun was threatening to shine too (sun)

A nice run round the back of the A-road via Park Lane and the "great views" from the top of Circourt bridge took us back to Challow and that just left the climb back to Wantage.

Thanks for joining me on a very chilled morning ride and well done all on what was quite a pacy ride (clap)
