After a very very wet day I ummed and arred whether to cancel although the forecast did promise a drying trend.

In the end I went for it and it was dry when I left home. When I got to the car park in Wantage the heavens opened and I considered leaving the bike in the car! It was short lived and off I went to the Market Square pretty sure no other idiots would turn up! I was right!

Since I was dressed for a ride and the sun was coming out I decided to go for a quick loop and cycle some new roads not cycled before on the new estates. Disappointing to see the cycle lanes used as car parks though.

It was actually a fine and pleasant evening so a shame no one else risked it.
