A select trio set out on a delightful, if somewhat windy, morning.

Dave set the pace on the flat and showed us the way up the hills.

We had planned to stop for a coffee in Lambourn, but it was closed.

The route up to Blowingstone with the wind at our tail was a joy. The 'flat' into the wind before the rise up to Sparsholt Firs was a chore.

We were back in WMP by 11:30 feeling pleased with ourselves
