Wantage was heaving with no parking available at The Beacon so I had to do some street parking a little way away. I was just about to go for a ride on my own when Jon arrived rather out of puff having fought a headwind from home.

It was clear and cold and the roads were nice and quiet for the ride out to Shrivenham. The headwind made itself known from here though, one of those annoying block headwinds you sometimes get in the winter, not strong but sapping.

Jon headed home at Baulking and I decided to head back via Goosey and Denchworth than fight the wind along the A-road. Overall a jolly nice ride
