Another warm, windless evening and another big group! Good to see Libby back for her second ride and a warm welcome to Lawrence on his first ride with Corallian - he'd already done 60-odd miles earlier in the day!

Kingston Lisle Hill seemed longer than I remembered and the climb from Uffington up Dragon Hill provides a significant climb of 144 m, much of it at > 10%. Not surprisingly, without climbing gears, Lawrence gave the main climb a miss but everyone else got to the top to enjoy the fine views North over the vale.

After safely negotiating the gravelly descent the second half of the ride was a much flatter affair and much energy was expended chatting, which naturally extended to a post-ride drink at KAH.
