An initially uninviting evening with gusty winds and thunderstorms running down the Vale. I was thus surprised and delighted to see four bikers arrive ! The reward was actually a lovely evening as we took on the hilly route at a leisurely pace. For some a first visit to Fawley and some of the other minor roads en route. Chain Hill proved exciting with strong cross-winds and Nick almost got taken out by a Red Kite enjoying some road kill. But all arrived safely back in Wantage.
