Morning Ride - Yattendon Hilly

Eight of us rode out from Wantage in perfect conditions and met up with Chris at Woolley Cross. Riding on, the group enjoyed the picturesque route although we had to work for it on the numerous cheeky climbs along the way. West Berks Brewery provided us with coffee and bacon rolls, which were tasty but I felt were one rasher short of satisfaction. Surely two rashers in your butty is a basic human right? But the setting was great and the small local artisan market provided a distraction from this travesty. Back on the road the blast down Chain Hill started the therapy and by the time a couple of pints had been consumed at the 'Fred's Head it was almost forgotten. All in it was a lovely sociable ride.
