It wasn't exactly warm! Andy and John had ridden over, and we welcomed back Hugo in his first club ride for a while.

Not long into the ride we were joined by Louis (was hiding in the cafe) and Jez (ridden over from Reading) as the group started to enjoy the climbs. No dramas save for the two idiot drivers going opposite directions on a steep single track road, neither of which seemed to have the capability or inclination to reverse. Ho hum!

Lunch was taken at the delightful and great value Stoke Row Stores, before a quick tribute to the Maharaja.

We nearly lost Hugo on the way back near to South Stoke... must try harder next time

A shortish ride meant we were all done by 2pm, albeit with tired legs all around!
