Chilly weather with persistent drizzle dampened our enthusiasm for the first day of spring. Rain the previous night also meant that the roads and cycle-tracks were slippery and dirty; there was some dissent in the peloton about the ratio of road to track! No pancakes were to be found in Abingdon [sorry] but we drowned our sorrows in Java [again]. Nick had the traditional post-cafe puncture which was quickly fixed. No pub today - all quickly home for a hot shower.
