A splendid day out on the bikes! Louis and Nick rode over to Uffington, and we really enjoyed the sunshine that beat down on us for most of the ride.

The roads were quiet, but there was a headwind at times as we meandered through the Southern Cotswold villages and on to the Plough for an excellent lunch, washed down by the odd beer, it has to be admitted.

A much easier afternoon (maybe for the best?) saw Louis and Nick peel off at Gainfield, while the rest of us slogged it out back, into the headwind, to Uffington.
