A warm evening in Wantage as 9 of us set off to Southmoor via the Letcombes and Childrey. This was a reverse of last weeks ride on mostly smooth roads so we made good progress up to Southmoor and Kingston Bagpuize. The sun had come out as we rolled down Fyfield Wick to the Hanneys.

A momentary loss of direction led to a minor incident when Nick D cycled into Chris W. They both performed theatrical dismounts over the handlebars onto the soft grass verge. We paused for a few minutes to check that everyone was okay.
Chris and Nick had both had very soft landings so we all remounted and continued back to Wantage with no further dramas.
