Lovely chilled ride with a great group. The roads were quiet and a decent breeze pushed us towards Alton Barnes and cooled us on the ride back to Hungerford. As usual the lunch stop at Honey Street Mill Cafe was excellent with true cyclist-size portions - three of us gorged ourselves on immense scones, cream and jam and Ian's cake was particularly impressive. We all managed to hold onto our lunches on the climb up the Pewsey Downs and enjoyed the lovely extended descent down towards Marlborough. Louis extended the ride at both ends into an Imperial Century.
