A recovery ride beckoned, and we joined up with Cliff Harrison, a local who lives in Eastbourne for some of the year. Great to ride with him again!

Vezenobres is a hilltop town so typical of this part of Languedoc - steep climbs to get to the centre, narrow streets and cobbles. Good coffee and ice-cream stop, where we nattered to a French / Australian couple for a bit.

The return journey retraced yesterday's route back after Moussac, and the pump was used again to great effect!
