A hilly ride southeast up Chain Hill and on to Yattendon, then west through to Chilton Foliat, before turning north through Lambourn to return to Wantage. The ride list dropped dramatically, but thanks to Pam for riding part of the way before peeling off for another engagement.

Possible reasons for low turn out:
Cold - yes to start, but not after climbing Chain Hill
Wet - if that's what you call <0.5mm/hour mist for first hour and a half
Windy - only noticeable head wind was on drag up from Lambourne, but I was pretty relaxed about it after a glass of malbec at the (over priced) lunch
Hilly - yes
