Great to see a good turnout for the postponed Welcome Back ride with several dormant riders returning to the saddle too. Richard P joined us near Charney Bassett.

A bit of a chilly and overcast start but no dramas on the way to Abingdon with some very disciplined tight formation riding. We stopped at Java & Co. just as the Sun started to break through.

On the way back we altered the planned route to use Peep O'Day Lane which was dry and again well disciplined riding back to Grove.

Nick D picked up a puncture on Main Street after hitting a pothole (of which there are many ridiculously dangerous examples of at the moment).

Eight of us stopped for a drink in the suntrap corner of the KAH garden. A very warm welcome back to a summer of cycling!!
