Probably the windiest ascent of WHH we've done!! The bend at the top of the steep bit was almost like the final bend on Mont Ventoux as we all got blown to the right and almost to a standstill!!

Again we beat nearly all the other clubs to the Mince Pies and Mulled Wine. Maybe we'll have to take a longer route next year! It was good to catch up with friends from other clubs before we descended and enjoyed a wind-assisted return back to Wantage.

Apart from a badly timed rain shower as we cycled through Grove and on to Wantage the conditions weren't too bad and most of us enjoyed a coffee and a natter in Costa at the end of the ride.
