Glorious warm evening with a light Northerly wind and a good turn-out of 12 riders. The group split up into three on the main roads and when Larry punctured near Cothill, but after a rapid repair we all re-grouped before the descent of Boar's Hill. Although the temperature was by then dropping it was compensated by the beautiful views of the vale in the evening light of a setting sun, and on Circourt Road by a fly past by a Barn Owl.
