Ride Category
A lovely still evening with a few minor mechanicals, notably Pam's rear tyre explosion, a couple of roads rarely-visited and a fox crossing in front of us near Shrivenham. And the puncture delay allowed John and Chris to precisely time a detour off to see some loco or other at the Compton Beauchamp road bridge. It was clearly a significant one because we passed two train spotters on the Ashbury Crossing pedestrian bridge a few minutes later!

After a very rare ride through the hamlet of Kingstone Winslow (first for Corallian in the Eastward direction?) we set off back along the spring line road. A climb up Woolstone Hill allowed a pause to survey the vale with a complete absence of wind and moving cars. With a short deviation through Westcot, Sparsholt and Childrey we arrived back in Wantage at 9 o'clock in time for a swift drink in the KAH garden.
