Nine riders plus Andy on his first ride with the club, welcome! The roads were wet initially from overnight rain but it was a dry, bright and reasonably warm morning.

Excellent group riding skills today with a nice tight group and plenty of chat and no dramas.

Root One was a decent stop, nice big café and outside seating area, the only improvement they could make would be to provide some cycle parking. We had to stack our bikes amongst the garden arches and ornaments!

A bit of a head wind from Wallingford back to Steventon which cooked my legs as I took the brunt of the work on the front! But the group kept together well. John G appreciated the off-road section to Ginge. Several of us refreshed ourselves in the KAH afterwards
