Another cool day. At least it was dry.
Louis just made the start by the skin of his teeth with a puncture delay, but we got away on time. A slight tail-wind helped us up Hackpen, and then the Lambourn valley provided respite before the climb up to Snelsmore Common, for coffee, cakes and scones... too cold for ice-creams though.
The northwards leg was handicapped by a headwind, so Paul puncturing near to Peasemore provided a decent respite, followed by a chilling descent of Chain Hill. The KAH provided decent beers and lunch for the group.
