A day starting with crystal clear sunny blue sky, but also some icy roads, and the weather didn't warm up much throughout the day.

Nonetheless five riders had a good day out taking in some new roads and scenery in east Oxfordshire and Bucks. Long Crendon was a particular highlight.

Our breakfast destination at Bradmoor Farm was reached by around 11. Initially we struggled to find the cafe, but were soon diverted into a huge room which Jez likened to a conference centre/Heathrow Airport. Had to be seen to be believed. The breakfasts were very good but the super weak coffee didn't really hit the mark on this occasion.

With the exception of a couple of slightly dull (but short) road sections (notably the hard-to-avoid bit around Chinnor) the return leg was on small back roads in bright sunshine (sun)

The total elevation wasn't huge but certainly enough undulations to leave us feeling well exercised. Thanks to everyone for coming out (clap)
