A slow start to the staycation. A hint of rain in the air, gusty conditions and Monday malaise may have influenced the turn out.

Anyway, Richard and I set off at a decent pace and arrived without incident in Burford, which was also slowly gearing up for a summer tourist day. Huffkins was splendid as ever - see picture.

The only incident of note on our return was a lady backing into our path as we whistled, wind assisted, along the single track path through Thrupp. She "didn't see us"; fortunately, we did and our brakes worked very well!
