Five of us set out - 3 with sore legs from the Chilterns ride yesterday. Nice tight riding as we adjusted the route to go all along the Spring Line rather than diverting through Westcot.

The Komodo Monitor at Shrivenham provided a little entertainment, and the airfield of the day was rather a damp squib, as expected.

Pam, however, was delighted to hear the quiet chimes at Watchfield before we headed down to Bloomfields for refreshment. Some tight group riding and even some revolving through and off saw us make good progress back to Wantage for further refreshment at Fred's Head... we'd dodged the showers very nicely!
