Four of us were chatting at the market square when Pete spotted an unexpected figure in Corallian kit approaching - Louis was back, 5 weeks after his hip op! Although not quite up to his pre-op pace he rode with us as far as Longcot before turning back, perhaps saving himself for a post-ride drink. The remaining four enjoyed a near windless ride out to Highworth for coffees in the Old Bakery. A few sunny spells on the return ride made it feel almost Spring-like and resulted in some enthusiastic cycling along the Springline road back to Wantage. Louis joined three of us for a pint and a natter in the KAH. We also had a brief chat there with Larry - we hope to see him out riding again in the summer!
