What a difference a day makes. The weather was as forecast wet and windy, but this did not deter some hardy folk (Louis and Nick. S)! We had a nice tail wind most of the way to Bampton before coffee at Lynwood & Co. An excellent coffee and sausage roll was enjoyed by all and we set off for home, well that is what we intended, until Louis announced he had a puncture!! Wheel was removed and repair kit unloaded. The offending thorn was extracted from the tyre and the puncture repaired. Fortunately this was all done in the dry under the canopy of the coffee shop. When we got started for the second time it was battle into the head wind back to Wantage. Nick returned home just before we reached the Wantage market square. Louis and I made our respective ways home for a warm shower. Thanks Nick and Louis for making what would have been a miserable ride on my own enjoyable.
