What a difference from the previous day - we had lovely blue skies, but with a cold north easterly wind. We started the ride with three and picked up Nick Dunton in Sutton Courtney. We made good time to the Picnic Hamper at Chalgrove Industrial estate for a well-deserved stop and refreshments. The trip back to Wantage was uneventful and we said goodbye to Nick in East Hagbourne. When we got back to Wantage it was past drinking time and everyone went home for a rest.
