A ride of several parts

Part I
Straightforward, well disciplined ride to Burford Church on largely empty roads, except for crossing the A40. We saw the plaque commemorating the three Levellers who were executed and buried in the churchyard on 17 May 1649.

Part II
Lovely pit stop at Huffkins in the company of a dog named Ted - Jez formed an instant bond with Ted.

Part III
Ride leader's derailleur cable snapped just before climbing out of Burford. Pete lived up to his surname and engineered a robust fix to allow me to ride home.

Part IV
The Blue Boar for tasty beer to thank Pete for his help.
