A nippy evening, and the route out had a nagging headwind, having the effect of making the group ride in a single line. From Fyfield on, it was much less like hard work, and we managed to keep up a decent pace.

Strangely, nobody fancied sitting outside at the King Alfred's Head afterwards... maybe next week?
