Turned out nice again. Yet another warm sunny day for this ride over to Cafe Bella at Ramsbury where we discovered that their refurbishment didn't really change much as far as cafe customers are concerned other than there is now a view into the kitchen and maybe better access to the back garden. It remains a pleasant spot to take a break though.

We were joined on a section of the ride by Larry who was out testing his legs as part of his comeback from illness. Great to see you Larry, hope to see you back at full strength soon.

I tried a more proactive ride leadership style today and got rewarded with some nice tight formation riding on the flatter road sections and considerate riding elsewhere. Thanks everyone for your help in making this happen.

The downs were looking lovely in the sunshine and the final blast down Chain Hill was as fun as ever. The reward of a cold drink at the Fred's Head was welcomed by those with some time on their hands (or shopping trips to dodge).
