A much better day than yesterday - we got some sunshine! With two lurgy recoverees, we cracked on through the villages at a decent but sustainable pace. The A34 northbound by Oxford was at a standstill, but that didn't really make any difference. The Jericho Cafe wasn't bursting at the seams, so we took our coffee stop there, sadly on the shaded street. Anyway, the coffee itself was pronounced good by many.

Oxford itself was pretty quiet, but the planned bridge to cross the Thames as closed so we detoured.

The closer we got to Wantage, the less patience was displayed by drivers, which was a shame, but it didn't stop five of enjoying a hydration stop at Alfie's!
