Great to have 10 riders out, including a first Corallian excursion for Martin. Initially it looked like we were down to nine when John discovered his gears were out of batteries before leaving Wantage square, but kudos for a quick bike change and meeting up with us again in Ashbury. The 70 km loop was smoothly despatched under a tropical combination of heat and cloud cover. The only minor concern was hitting Coleshill NT café to discover that every bike club for miles around had converged there at the same time. But coffee and cakes (apple crumble was the popular choice) were efficiently turned out with only a minor delay. Back for 1pm - missing the lightning and torrential downpours of late afternoon.
