A good friendly bunch of riders, accepted the challenge of the hills. We went out of Wantage to Letcombe and up Court hill which warmed us up. Along the A338 there was a strong cross wind which made the riding a bit interesting. Then left to Woolley for another hill, then down and up again to Brightwalton. A good breather before going up again from a standing start into Peasemore. After that the pace increased with the prospect of a cup of coffee and option of food at Hilliers.

From there with the wind behind, a relatively flat(er) route, through Stanmore, Worlds End and Beedon, then braving more cross winds on Chain Hill back to Wantage.
