A slightly chilly start developed into a superb sunny, windless day, ideal for a circuit of the vale - even the traffic seemed lighter than usual. This was a relaxed, convivial outing with everyone working hard to ride as a tight group. At the Log Cabin at Southmoor it was sufficiently warm to sit outside and Rachel entertained us by excavating around a tree with her multi-tool (see photo). The lost Torx bit turned up about a foot away! Three of us enjoyed a post-ride drink in the KAK beer garden.
