It was a cold misty morning so great to see 7 riders next to Alfie and Simon had told me he would join just down the road. Splitting into 2 groups down the A417 worked well and we did the same on the busier sections of road later in the ride. We made good progress to the earlyish stop at Blake's. The coffee and cakes were good (honorable mention for cinnamon buns) and a strong police presence gave added confidence that the bikes would be safe! The Charney to Denchworth Road was closed for surface repairs but we squeezed through and were back in the square shortly after 1300. Seven of us rounded off a very enjoyable ride in the KAH.
