What a difference a day makes. The sun was shinning and the temperature was barmy 10oC. Louis was unable to start the ride, so I took over as ride leader. We started with five and at Challow we lost Nick, but we were joined by Simon a few miles down the road. After a couple of weeks without riding the group were thankful of a flat route. The ride was a no coffee stop route so we kept going, only to be joined by Louis coming in the opposite direction as we came out of Charney Bassett so we were now up to 6 riders. We made it back to Wantage and battled through the local traffic and enjoyed a drink at the King Alfred’s Head. We heard that Nick got home safely – sorry you could enjoy the ride today.
